WS02 "The Rainbow Bridge" is a very colorful Trichocereus Bridgesii, grown from seed, with lost tag genetics, originally sourced from a farmer in the Eugene Oregon area.   It is named after an old Chumash Native American myth.  The Chumash tribe trace their genesis to Limuw (now Santa Cruz Island), where the Earth Mother, Hutash, created the first people. When the island became too crowded and noisy, Hutash created a shimmering rainbow bridge connecting the island to the mainland mountains so people could cross.   Hutash told the travelers not to look down. Some grew dizzy, looked down into the fog, and fell into the ocean.   To save those who fell, Hutash transformed them into dolphins, whom the Chumash still regard as their brothers and sisters.

A very colorful bridgesii, and a shimmering road to the future.  With dolphin vibes, medium spines, seagull notches velvety skin, and visually stunning rainbow aesthetic.   It displays colors ranging from purple, blue to orange yellow and red, holding a full spectrum of radiating exuberance..  This cultivar has a special place in my heart, and a tendency to create 4-ribbed or "4-winds" offsets as seen in the photo.  It almost glows.

Cutting is approximately 9" long, and will be cut upon ordering, needing a week or 2 before shipment to callous.
